Our Story
Antonio's kitchen, since before he could reach the stove.
Antonio grew up in Italy, in a family that ran its own trattoria. He trained in cookery school before bringing that training — and that provenance — to Ingleton, where La Tavernetta has become a genuine taste of Italy in the Yorkshire Dales.
Every dish is made the way he was taught: simply, properly, and with ingredients worth the effort. As the restaurant moves into a larger premises, that approach doesn't change — only the number of tables it can reach.
